Portable space heaters

As zone heating as a concept has taken off, the heater manufacturers have realized that portable space heaters are in demand. People don't need to buy multiple heaters when they want to heat more than one area so long as they don't want to heat two different places at the same time.

Also, as we travel more, a portable space heater means we can take our investment with us to ensure comfort along the journey and/or warmth when we arrive.

Portable space heaters powered by electricity.
These are great for around the home or office. Radiant models even work well in warehouse and shop environments. The great thing about a portable space heater is just that, you can pick it up, carry it with you and set it up in another area in seconds. The fact that they are so easy to move also makes them easy to store at the end of the winter season.

As power inverters have become more popular, electric models are also now usable as an option where power is not traditionally available (e.g. tailgating).

Portable space heaters powered by propane.
Outdoor life has brought about the evolution of propane powered portable space heaters. They are ideal for camping, golfing, fishing, tailgating, relaxing in patio areas, and that's just our personal outfoor life. Restaurants use patio heaters for a few months of the year to extend the outdoor season without having to install a permanent more expensive solution.

Portable space heaters that run on propane have also become increasingly popular for those nasty periods when you have no power. Losing your power for a few hours in Spring or Fall is not so bad, but in the dead of winter when a snow storm moves in and kills your power for a few hours life can be very uncomfortable and a handily located propane bottle and heater can make all the difference for you.
